“ Go for the Sunday Champagne brunch! A taste of everything and every single bite is soooo good! Yummy yummy yu ”
“ Excellent food quality. Small quaint And doesn't disappoint. Value for your money. There is plenty of parking. Plate are large and their fruit milk shakes are the best ”
“ The food was excellent! We enjoyed the Ropa Vieja, Pollo Asado, and Bistec De Pollo with Arroz Con Gandules and sweet plantains. Everything was super delicious!! We decided on the 'iced coffee', knowing Cuban coffee is typically stronger than most. It was noticeably sweetened, even had some sugar granules at the bottom of the glass when done, but it was very tasty. I will have it again the next time. We arrived around 1:30pm Monday and there were a few other people in the restaurant. It was a nice and clean, we were seated immediately, and the food came out quickly. Highly recommended, will definitely return. ”
“ Went around 4:30 on a weekday, it was slow, but the service was amazing from being greeted to seated. My waiter was friendly and helpful in describing dishes to me since it was my first time. The food was delicious! Cute restaurant, great service and great food, 10/10 would recommend. Ordered the Tostones Rellenos with Shrimp to start, delicious! More of a knife and fork cup versus trying to bite into it (it was hot haha), but the shrimp with bell peppers and onions and the sauce, so good! For the main I ordered Havanazucar Steak with sweet plantains and grandules rice instead of white rice and it was delicious! The chimichurri sauce was so good I asked for another side order. Both would definitely recommend. ”
“ BEST SERVICE... EVER ! ! ! Impeccably clean, superbly pleasant! Food that was prepared with pride! It is very rare - as it should be - to find a place like HAVANAZUCAR. The level of service and quality of the food I enjoyed at HAVANAZUCAR easily matches or surpasses top rated restaurants I have visited in Europe, the US, and Canada. Let me add that CUBAN is one of my favorite cuisines. HAVANAZUCAR easily surpasses any CUBAN restaurant I have visited in Puerto Rico, Panama, Las Vegas, or New York... even Cuba! ”
“ Wow wow wow!!! Absolutely amazing food!!! We came on a Saturday late afternoon, got seated right away. Waitress was nice enough. Nothing to complain about, she did her job.... Got us food and drinks with a smile. Cuban sandwich was awesome! French fries were delicious too. My hubby is picky about his Coke and this was great... cold and perfectly carbonated! Will we return? Even with living over an hour away, I can definitely say yes we will! ”
“ The food is authentic and reasonably affordable. Our server was lovely, she spoke in English to me and in Spanish to our bilingual friends. The restaurant is larger than I had expected, with linen covered and paper covered dinning tables. There are booths as well as regular tables and chairs. The papa rellena was my favorite item. The yuca was delicious and both types of empanadas were good. The rice was not my favorite and I would pass on it if we visited again. The steak had good flavor but was definitely far from medium rare. The cocktail menu is delicious, we tried various options while at dinner. ”
“ My eldest daughter was craving a Cubano sandwich so we started to Google for Cuban cuisines within the high desert. We came across Havanazucar Cuban Restaurant. So glad we did because the food was amazingly delicious. It is located in a quiet plaza. Unfortunately, a few of its surrounding businesses have gone out of business. Hope they'll be okay. Anyway, this restaurant is quite spacious inside, but you wouldn't be able to tell from the outside. Love the mauve blue and red colored bench seats! I have an eye for colors. They have a good selection of unique Cuban foods from beef to pork to seafood and so much more. They also have selective drinks and desserts. I ordered the ceviche that came with fish instead of shrimp plus chips. This was very good, but not as sweet if it was with shrimp. My eldest daugther got her Cubano sandwich with fried plantain (banana) chips... she said both sandwich and chips were very yummy! The pork was very tender and chips were either baked or air fried because it was light and crispy and not oily. I loved it so much I got two side orders of plantains to-go LOL. You bet I did! My youngest daughter got the beef stew with black beans and pan fried plantains... she said beef was very tender and tasty... she didn't care for the beans or plantains so I ate them for her... they tasted very good to me. Staff was very nice and attentive. They would check on us from time to time to make sure everything was okay. Thank you! Besides the amazing tasting foods, their prices were very reasonable and their portions were good. I highly recommend any local and non-resident to come here and give them a try. It's a few miles from Fwy 15, but it is so worth the drive. A gem worth exploring for its authentic taste and flavors! ”
“ I recently revisited Havanazucar Cuban Restaurant for brunch and wanted to update my review. The restaurant continues to impress with its great options and flavorful food. One thing to note is that Havanazucar can get quite crowded during brunch hours, which can be overwhelming at times. However, it's a testament to the popularity and quality of the food they serve. The prices at Havanazucar are still great, offering good value for the delicious dishes they offer. The food is full of flavor, showcasing the authentic Cuban cuisine that the restaurant is known for. From savory to sweet, there are plenty of options to satisfy your taste buds. One of the highlights of brunch at Havanazucar is the bottomless mimosas. It's a fantastic offering that adds to the overall brunch experience. Sipping on unlimited mimosas while enjoying the flavorful Cuban dishes is a great way to start the day. Lastly, the staff at Havanazucar is always friendly and welcoming. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and ensure that you have a pleasant dining experience. Their warm hospitality adds to the overall enjoyment of the meal. In conclusion, Havanazucar Cuban Restaurant continues to impress with its great options, flavorful food, and friendly staff. While it can get crowded during brunch hours, the experience is well worth it. I highly recommend visiting Havanazucar for a delightful brunch experience. ”
“ Got: paella, oxtail, ceviche, papas, tostones rellenos Price: $14-20 per entree, peptides averaging $6, pallea was the most expensive but can easily be shared by 3 peoples Value: 9/10, the decoration in the interior is not divey nor overly fancy. Quality is in the food and portions are big! Service is quick and attentive. Free fried butter bread comes out as a pre appetizer. Food is seasoned well maybe 10% too seasoned in my opinion but tasty nevertheless less. Seafood in the paella is plump and succulent. Includes fish, octopus, shrimp, mussels, calamari. Ceviche is perfectly acidic with the pop freshness to balance out the rich flavors of the other dishes. Overall, great place to take people visiting the High Desert. ”
